The Kitchen

UPDATE!
After Grayden's birthday party Don decided to start rearanging the kichen.  Here are some pictures of that...

We've paused on the kitchen renovation to work on Grayden's room.  When we are done with that we will move back to the kitchen!

The kitchen is our current project.  I have decided that I can't stand cooking and baking in a kitchen without countertops!

Here are some pictures of it before we moved in.

I like the look of the glass doors.  It took me a long time to realize (Don had to point it out to me) that there are glass shelves in the one and wood shelves in the other.  We will be replacing the glass ones so that both cabinets match.  We will also be taking off the wood trim stuff on the glass (cabinet on the right) off so that both match. 

I also found this cool idea for the glass doors that I can do myself with my nifty silhouette machine.  What do you think?  It looks like etched glass... but it is really frosted vinyl and really easy to do!

 

The kitchen is actually a lot bigger than these two pictures... but I didn't take any more pictures this day.  I will get some posted soon of the rest of the kitchen.  And hopefully we will start the renovation soon!
