Bathrooms and Laundry Room

UPDATE 6/29/13
We have decided to keep this little room as the pantry and put the bathroom at the end of the entrance hall.
Before:
We had to take this down in order to build the wall but it will go back up when we are all done with the wall.

  Framing in the new wall!

 Drywall...
All finished.  Once we get settled with Cooper we will work on getting plumbing run and fixtures in.

UPDATE:
4/2/12

Since we are in full swing potty training mode we are going to go ahead and do the bathroom downstairs.  There is currently no bathroom downstairs so this is going to be a huge undertaking!
If you have been to the house and have seen the "pantry" shelves in between the kitchen and laundry room... behind those shelves is where the bathroom is going to go.  So yesterday we needed to find a place to put the shelves.

This is where the pantry shelves were...

And this is where they are going.  This is the landing to the basement stairs.  This may end up changing... but for now the food has to go somewhere and this is it!

Don gave it a quick coat of paint to dress it up a tiny bit (it needs a LOT more help than just paint!) and put a light in there so we can see.

We moved all the food off of the shelves and moved them into the new location.

This is what we found behind the shelves in the new bathroom area.  I guess we lost some cherios at some point!

This is what the bathroom area looks like now.  I told you... we have a long way to go!

And this is what the new pantry area looks like.

Here is our lovely bathroom.  It is the only one in the house and is on the second floor.
As you can see... it doesn't have a shower.  You'd think after almost a year of living here we would have put one in right?  Wrong.  We still haven't.  I shower at work and Grayen only takes baths... and Don just hasn't complained about it enough to make it a priority.  Maybe someday!
The sink is beautiful... but needs stripped and a coat of the correct type of paint.  Someone painted it with the wrong stuff and it is peeling very badly.
There is no mirror, since we've moved in we have put a full length mirror up to use until we renovate the bathroom.  Unfortunatley, it is low on the list of priorities.

Here is our Laundry Room:
I have big dreams for this room... those dreams include a brand spankin new front loading high efficiency washer and dryer... but like I said, those are just dreams!
For now, this is what it will look like.

 Check out that floor!
